Call the Bluefield Sanitary Board to report your problem (304-325-3681). A field supervisor will inspect the sewer that serves your home. You will receive a call from the Sanitary Board to inform you if the problem is a main sewer line or is in your house line. Due to insurance restrictions, we are not allowed to enter your dwelling to detect problems with your line.
3. What is my responsibility as a homeowner?
The Bluefield Sanitary Board is responsible for the portion of the sewer from your property line up to and including the main sewer. The homeowner is responsible for all inside plumbing and the outside line to the edge of your property.

You will need to call (304) 327-9461 Nights, Holidays and Weekends and (304) 325-3681 M-F 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. to report any problem. This person will relay your information to a field crew supervisor who will return your call and set forth the needed response.
